Treadmill Trouble

Man, I got busted on Facebook for using a Jonas Brothers song on my movie!  I didn't know it was considered copyright infringement...anyway, I switched it up.  Now it's just a random song that iMovie provides.  It better be okay otherwise I'm gonna be mad.  Enjoy!

American Idol Fever

We've got Idol fever at our house and have been singing up a storm.  Jordan has fun singing along and even makes requests.  Is he your next American Idol?

I'm back!!!!

I feel like I have not blogged in forever!  Our computer was acting really goofy and we weren't able to get the internet so I wasn't able to get on and blog.  I completely missed it, but in a way it was a nice reason to take a break from blogging.  But I'm back!

We have been busy doing Christmas things and I'll have to post those pictures.  Our Christmas cards are all out and we've been getting a few every day.  Chad thinks I'm crazy, but I love to get Christmas cards in the mail.  It's the one time of year that I do get fun things in the mail.  Snail mail is sadly becoming a lost art.  We sat down tonight and wrapped most of the presents we have...well, I wrapped while Chad watched football, but we were together, and that's what counts.

This year, we have decided to do the 12 dates of Christmas instead of giving each other gifts.  Last night was our first date, we went to see Four Christmases, the movie with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon, and then we went out for pizza at a new restaurant in town called Parma John's.  I love the pun.  Four Christmases was a cute movie, but I think it would be okay to wait and watch it after it's out of the theater, but there were some funny parts.  Tonight was our second date, and that was the present wrapping party and then we watched TV and cuddled.  It may sound simple, but it seems like we do stuff while we watch TV and we don't really sit together and completely watch together, it's mostly me that's either reading and listening to the TV or knitting and listening to the TV at the same time.  So it was nice to just sit together and watch together.  And now I'm blogging while Chad watches Survivor.  I love how he talks to the TV and tries to tell the Survivors what to do.  It's cute.

On the first date of Christmas...

Twilight!

Where were you on 11/21/08?????  Kathy and I went to see the midnight showing of Twilight.  When I got there, Kathy said we were the only ones over 18...and we pretty much were.  There were some moms there with their kids but I think we were pretty much the only moms there without kids.  The movie was pretty good...the acting was pretty cheesy at times, and I didn't really like the action/special effects that much, but overall it was good.  My favorite part was hearing the girls shout and giggle every time Edward came on the screen or when he touched Bella or when he smirked or when he talked or when he talked...it was seriously non-stop.  I would definitely see it again right now in a heartbeat.  I'm ready for the next one!

Twilight Here I Come!!!

I wore my Twilight shirt today because I'm going to see the movie tonight at midnight...12:02 to be exact.  Kathy said she would go with me so we are both sneaking out of the house tonight!  I can't wait.  There were so many people talking about it today.  One teacher saw my shirt and told me I had to go take a picture with Edward Cullen who was in the library.  Check it out:

Me and EDWARD!
I didn't even have to fight any crazy Twilight moms to get to him!

In less than two hours I will be watching the movie.  I am so excited because I really love this book.  I'm not sure I am going to like the actors they cast for the characters, but I'm sure it'll be good.  I'm not sure I'll have enough energy to post when I get home...but I'm sure I'll post some time tomorrow.  I CAN'T WAIT!

Horton Hears A Who

Last night I went to see Horton Hears A Who with my sister, Jacquie. The movie just opened last night and we were excited to see it. For a cartoon, I was entertained the whole time. Jim Carrey does the voice of Horton and he did a great job. There weren't any parts that were too-Jim-Carrey for me so that was good. It was about an hour and a half long and I didn't get bored at all. It actually seemed to go fast. The animation was really cool and there were lots of Dr. Seuss elements that were fun.
