37 Weeks

Sheesh, I haven't posted lately...I've been in a funk in general.  It's weird to think that being home for the summer and having nothing to do makes it hard to get things done.  I do much better when I'm on a schedule.  I think it's one of the reasons it would be hard for me to be a stay-at-home mom.  I realize it's a hard job and it's just not for me.

I love that Chad and I are both teachers and we get to stay home together all summer, but it does make for some long days sometimes...especially being pregnant and with hot weather.  The rain has been crazy lately and we haven't been to the water park because of all the rain we've had.  We have had some nice days.

Last week I hit 37 weeks!  Here's a picture in the morning before we dropped Jordan off at camp:
Me and the hubster
Jordan - he's looking more and more like a big boy lately!
After camp, I picked Jordan up and we met our friends at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.  We went to see their outdoor train exhibit.  They loved it!  See, Jordan is all smiles!!!

Alex, Jordan, and Maddy
Jordan, Maddy, and Alex - I actually got a picture of the all looking and smiling! Go me!

I completely agree with doing better on a schedule. I feel antsy and cranky at home all day long.

You are getting so close to the end. I can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful baby!

I have to tell you I think the hardest part about being home with Charlotte is the lack or routine and schedule! I totally agree, I get so much more done when I have less time to do it!

Hang in there! You look great. That baby will be here before you know it.

As much as I feel like when I have kids I'd love to be a stay at home mum, I think you're right - I need a schedule too and I may go crazy without one!! You are looking more and more lovely by the day - so close now! I can't wait!

I understand the whole schedule thing. When I was babysitting through the school year I could do more because both kids were on a schedule for lunch time, naptime, etc. Now my days are blown because Bailey and I just do our own thing! I bet you are getting so excited its almost over and you get to see that precious baby!!!
