Florida 2008 Part 2

After a few days in Tampa, we were off to Disney World!  Tuesday morning we set off on our what-seemed-like-forever trek to Disney.  I had been looking forward to and planning this trip for soooo long it seemed like the miles took sooooo long to countdown, but we eventually made it!  Here we all are on our mini-road trip:

We made it to Orlando by 11:00 to check in.  Luckily, our room was ready and we were able to move in.  We went to Downtown Disney to eat at Planet Hollywood and then to do some shopping!  

Jordan was excited to be in our room at the Pop Century resort on Disney property.  Two years ago, when Chad and I went to Disney for the first time together, we stayed off-site at a not-so-magical hotel.  This was way better...Jordan seemed to agree!

Lunch/dinner was great at Planet Hollywood.  It was fun to see all the cool movie memorabilia on the walls.  Chad found some cool Indiana Jones stuff.  Did you know the Orlando Planet Hollywood is the largest in the world?

We hit just about all the stores at Downtown Disney.  We spent most of our time at Team Mickey where Chad found lots of cool sports and ESPN gear.  Amazingly, Jordan slept in the stroller for most of the time!  Gotta love it!  Here we are in front of some Lego creations. 

We headed back to the hotel room to rest up for our first day at the Disney parks.  Our first stop: Magic Kingdom, of course!  Don't forget to check back for Part 3 of our 2008 Florida trip!
