Isn't the cover of this book awesome? I was so excited to read it! Savvy is about a girl whose family gets special powers (for lack of a better term) when they turn 13. Mibs, the main character, celebrates her 13th birthday shortly after her father is hospitalized after a car accident. She stows away on a bible-delivery bus with her two brothers and two friends as they try to get to her father. It's a crazy adventure as she discovers what her savvy is all about. I have to say that this book better be a sequel or a series because I felt like I just got started. I hope there are more books to come!
