The Looking Glass Wars

Most Recently Read Book:

The Looking Glass Wars

By Frank Beddor

Another great book!  I have been lucky and have read some really great books lately.  This is yet another book that I loved.  This is the story of Alyss Heart, princess of Wonderland.  On her 7th birthday, her aunt, Redd, storms the castle, kills her parents, and takes over Wonderland.  Alyss is transported to England through the Pool of Tears where she tries to tell her story of Wonderland, but no one believes her...except for one man, who writes and publishes her story as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland under the pen name of Lewis Carroll.  Alyss is so upset that her story has been so awfully changed around but can't do anything about.  Finally, after thirteen years, a member of the Wonderland milinary (as they call their military) tracks Alyss down and takes her back to Wonderland to face her awful aunt Redd.  I loved loved loved the characters in this book and the author did a great job of developing great characters and also of telling an awesome story.

Glad you loved The Looking Glass Wars. Hopefully you will like the next books, Seeing Redd and ArchEnemy, just as well! We're up to a whole bunch of other mischief besides the third book, the movie, a new card game at www.cardsoldierwars.com , an iPhone app, and of course updating the MMO with new games. There's too much to recount!

Long Live Alyss!
